“Window to the soul” is the famous phrase associated with the eye. Eyes can convey emotion, inspire, and connect, but tragically they also can hide the struggle inside. This piece was inspired by my own struggle with mental health; Anxiety and depression barely contained under the surface, screaming to be released from its glass-like prison.
